The Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management & Public Safety (MACEM&PS) identifies intellectual resources to assist and support students, teachers, managers, administrators, and the public. The MACEM&PS Resource Library features:

  • Emergency Management student research and information supplied by the general public
  • Current emergency management issues and topics for discussion
  • Educator resources including materials for FCC EMGT and MSDE CTE HSEP instructors
  • Maryland Registered Emergency Management Specialist apprenticeship program resources

All portals are accessible to the public. Within the Educator Resources portal, FCC Emergency Management Adjunct Instructors and MSDE CTE Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness participants may request access to password protected areas.

MACEM&PS’s partnership with Frederick Community College (FCC) allows emergency management professionals to receive academic credit for Emergency Management training.
