Important Notice: Federal Government Shutdown Impact on Credit Conversion Program
Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, FEMA has taken the entire
Independent Study course repository and course records system offline. As a result, students are unable to:
 • Complete FEMA Independent Study courses and exams
 • Access FEMA Independent Study course records
Frederick Community College is actively working to identify a process to validate previous course completions
so we can continue to award college credit for previously completed courses during this period of disruption.

Please note: new credit conversion requests may take longer than usual until FEMA restores access.
If you have any questions, please contact us at 301.624.2854 or [email protected].
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to minimize student impact.
